Located on the beautiful Costa Tropical, less than an hour from Málaga Airport and one hour from Granada, we offer Spanish courses specifically designed for groups of students looking to improve their language skills while enjoying an unforgettable adventure.
Our stays combine Spanish language study with immersion in Spanish culture. It is an ideal place to thoroughly explore the Spanish language and culture while enjoying our social, cultural, and sports activities.
At TCL, we have been organizing linguistic stays since 1993 for students who come with their teachers to study Spanish, as well as study trips or incentive trips for all types of groups.
SPANISH COURSE
Spanish Classes are organized according to the group’s level, with a maximum of 10-12 students per group. If any student has a higher level than the rest, they can be regrouped into another school group that better suits their level.
The standard course schedule is in the morning, starting at 9:00 AM with a 30-minute break between classes. The usual number of lessons per week is 20, but more or fewer can be arranged.
Before arrival, the teacher will fill out a series of documents about the group’s level, the content covered during the year, and what they would like to work on during their stay. A training program will be organized to suit their level.
Attendance Certificate from TCL. Accompanying teachers can also request an Academic Report detailing the content studied during the course.
ACTIVIDADES Y EXCURSIONES
La estancia también incluye un programa de actividades culturales y de tiempo libre. Estas se realizan, normalmente, por las tardes y fines de semana pero pueden adaptarse a las necesidades del grupo. Un profesor de la escuela acompañará al grupo en todo momento.
La mayoría de grupos elige una o dos excursiones. Los destinos más demandados son Granada y la Alhambra, Málaga, Nerja y Frigiliana o la Alpujarra.
El traslado se realiza en autobús privado y la duración es de 1 hora y cuarto aproximadamente, en la mayoría de los desplazamientos.
To enhance language immersion, the LODGING will be in Spanish families with wide experience hosting students; with full board, that is, breakfast, lunch and dinner or half board (breakfast and lunch or dinner). They will prepare a packed lunch for those days with full day excursions or activities just after the classes and, if it is required in advance, they can also have a meal prepared for the arrival (no matter the time).
Students will be placed in host families, in double or triple rooms, according to the rooming list teachers will have to send us and their meal habits, allergies, etc. they may have.
All the families are located in town centre, in an average distance of 5 minutes on foot to the school and beach. They are in permanent contact with the school and are informed about all the students’ important information (allergies, etc.), class and activities schedules, etc.
To stay with a Spanish family is a good way to practise Spanish also outside the classroom and get to know Spanish culture and gastronomy.
The SPANISH LESSONS will be in small groups, with maximum 10-12 students per class and according to their level, to make easier the oral practice. The group levels will be organized in advance for our head of studies together with the Spanish teacher. That way, the students will make the most of their stay in Spain. But also students can undergo a language test on arrival.
Classes are usually in morning schedule, starting at 9.00.
Moreover, at the end of the course, they will receive our Certificate of Completion and the accompanying teachers, an Academic Report with all the contents studied during the course.
The stay will also include a DAILY PROGRAM OF LEISURE AND CULTURE ACTIVITIES in the afternoons and/or evenings and an EXCURSION TO GRANADA with a visit to the Alhambra included (see the sample programs). All trips and activities have an accompanying teacher or guide.
According to the number of participants per group, the group leader’s accommodation (except for Hotel/Hostal) and programme of activities and excursions will not be charged for by the school

The booking is only confirmed when a minimum prepayment of 100 € per student is made. The rest of the fees must be paid before the group arrival.
Concerning CANCELATIONS:
If a student, after having confirmed and made payment, cannot come, the school will refund all payment received except the 100 € prepayment if the notification is received maximum one week before the arrival, if not, there will be no refund.
