Host family
If you want total immersion, practising Spanish outside the classroom, getting to know Spanish culture and gastronomy, etc., close up, then this is the best option. You will stay in a private home where you can chose between a single or double room and
- Half board (two meals: breakfast and lunch or dinner), or
- Full board (three meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner).
One load of washing per week is included.
One family can accommodate up to 4 students, however these may not all be of the same nationality and mother-tongue unless they book together.
Information before arrival:
In order to place you with the most suitable family you will need to tell us about your eating habits (ie. if you are vegetarian, don’t eat fish, etc.); if you have any allergies or other illnesses; if you smoke or not; whether you like animals, etc. We will also need to know your approximate arrival time so that we can let the family know and ensure they are at home.
How to get there:
A week before your arrival at the latest, we will send you all the information about the family with whom you will stay and a map showing the bus station, the school and your accommodation.
When you arrive in Almuñecar you will have to go straight to your family’s house. If you have booked our airport collection service, the taxi driver will take you straight to your accommodation.
