Methodology and evaluation
On the one hand, as regards teaching Spanish as a foreign language, it will always focus on students, taking into account their characteristics and educational needs. It will be oriented around a communicative approach aimed at increasing their expression, comprehension and oral and written interaction skills, with motivating activities and projects that encourage the students to achieve their language goals.
The Spanish as a foreign language assessment will be carried out continuously throughout the course, through the various examinations of the classroom teaching manual, which will make it possible to know the student’s progress and evolution. The course is also followed by a final examination of the level of Spanish acquired at the end of the course, the result of which will enable the holder to obtain a certificate of achievement.
On the other hand, in relation to the preparation of the specific competence tests, it will focus on the organization and planning of the study (with effective techniques) and on an efficient approach where the most relevant aspects will be prioritized, which will be given higher priority in the tests. Dynamic classes will be held, in which individual and group work can be combined. In addition, mock examinations will be conducted with real models of previous calls. The methodology will also always be accompanied by continuous guidance.
