School
Tropical Coast Languages is a Spanish school situated in Almuñecar. We have been exclusively
dedicated to teaching Spanish as a foreign language since 1992.
Studying Spanish at TCLanguages is fully guaranteed. With over 20 years of experience, our school:
- is an Instituto Cervantes Accredited Centre, meaning that our Spanish courses are adapted to their curricular program and therefore to the levels and abilities outlined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (European Council);
- complies with the quality requirements of regulation UNE-EN 14804 “Language study tour providers.” (European regulation EN-14804:2006) of the CEN (European Committee Standardization);
- We are also an Examination Centre for DELE (Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language) and EFE (Spanish for Specific Purposes) certificates and diplomas (Spanish for business, tourism and health services) from the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid.
Our Spanish school is situated in a small square in the heart of the old part of Almuñecar, in a commercial, pedestrian area full of restaurants, shops and bars, a minute from the beach and also very close to the accommodation we offer.
It is a medium sized school, so that we know all of our students personally, thereby creating a pleasant atmosphere with familiar, individualised treatment. We have five air-conditioned classrooms with natural light, all fully equipped with suitable multimedia material for learning Spanish.
As well as Spanish lessons, we have available to our students at no extra cost:
- Book and video libraries with a lending service
- Computers with Internet access
- Wi-Fi network throughout the school.
There is also no extra cost for the attendance certificatefrom TCLanguages which we will give you at the end of your Spanish Course.
We receive students of all ages and nationalities, especially European, all year round.
Our average annual number of students is 350.
We don’t have a high season as such, though holiday periods such as Easter, summer (June, July and August), autumn breaks (September and October) tend to be popular.
