ABOUT US<\/h3>

Tropical Coast Languages is a Spanish school situated in Almu\u00f1ecar. We have been exclusively dedicated to teaching Spanish as a foreign language since 1992.<\/p>

Studying Spanish at TCLanguages is fully guaranteed. With over 20 years of experience, our school:<\/p>

  • is an Instituto Cervantes Accredited Centre, meaning that our Spanish courses are adapted to their curricular program<\/em>\u00a0and therefore to the levels and abilities outlined in the Common <\/em>European Framework of Reference for Languages (European Council)<\/em>;<\/li><\/ul>
    • complies with the quality requirements of regulation UNE-EN 14804 \u201cLanguage study tour providers.\u201d (European regulation EN-14804:2006) of the CEN (European Committee Standardization)<\/em>;<\/li><\/ul>
      • We are also an Examination Centre for DELE (Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language) and EFE (Spanish for Specific Purposes) certificates and diplomas (Spanish for business, tourism and health services)\u00a0<\/strong>from the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

        WHAT DO WE DO?<\/h3>

        TCLanguages is a Spanish school that combines language teaching with cultural and leisure activities through courses and stays for all those interested in learning about the Spanish language and culture. Through specific courses, it prepares for the certification of linguistic competence of validated exams related to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (DELE, Official School of Languages or Exams of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce for Spanish as a foreign language ).<\/p>

        The courses, stays and activities are aimed at all kinds of students: from adults, adolescents and children from 3 years of age, who are interested in knowing the Spanish language and deepening their knowledge of its culture, history, customs, way of life or any aspect related to the language and culture.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

        Degree in Philosophy from the University of Granada and Master’s degree in Spanish teacher training from the University of Barcelona. He is also an examiner of the DELE tests where I have served as both Examiner and Chief Examiner.<\/em><\/p>

        Between 2010 and 2020 he has spent a decade working as a Spanish teacher in Barcelona and England. In all this time he has worked with both adolescents and adults. In addition to being a teacher, he has performed other functions: tutor of intern teachers, he has collaborated in the preparation of materials, coordinated groups of adolescents and has accompanied extracurricular activities. He has also been in charge of student assessment and certification.<\/em><\/p>

        All this experience is what has turned into TCLanguages <\/em>\u200b\u200b<\/em>(TCL). TCL is a challenge that I can only be proud of and, at the same time, with great responsibility. <\/em>\u201c<\/em>It is my wish that our center be a place of reference for the teaching of Spanish. My primary objective is that each of the students who pass through TCL leaves with the desire to return and the feeling of having felt at home. “<\/em><\/p>

        Among his favorite hobbies are hiking and farming. Every week he goes to his farm to take care of his avocados. Who better to explain all the details of the Costa Tropical? He loves to play the guitar, although his voice does not accompany him.<\/em><\/p>

        It is defined as a calm, responsible and organized person. He never loses his cool and always has a smile that will make you feel at home.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

          After graduating in History at the University of Granada, he took the CAP (Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude) at the same university, where he continued with a degree in Hispanic Philology. After a year in Granada, he continued his studies in Naples through the Erasmus grant and in Barcelona, <\/em>\u200b\u200b<\/em>where he combined studies in Hispanic and Italian Philology. He followed one more course to complete a master’s degree in Cultural Heritage Management. Back in Granada, he completed another master’s degree in Marketing and Corporate Communication at the Escuela Superior de Negocios de Andaluc\u00eda.<\/em><\/p>

          His experience as an ELE teacher began during his Erasmus period, helping his classmates in their Spanish subjects, continuing in different schools in Barcelona such as Kingsbrook or Don Quijote, in addition to other collaborations. Already in Almu\u00f1\u00e9car, he joined Tclanguages <\/em>\u200b\u200b<\/em>in 2009. He is also a teacher at the British school Almu<\/em>\u00f1\u00e9<\/em>car International School, where he has taught Social, Art History and Global Perspectives since 2013.<\/em><\/p>

          An expert in Almu\u00f1\u00e9car there cannot be a better ambassador than him, he knows and loves his town like no one else and transmits this immense love to the students. Hardworking, intelligent and cultured Manuel is an encyclopedia of history, art and grammar. He is obsessed with spell checking and always corrects the rest of the team.<\/em><\/p>

          It is defined as a responsible and organized person. Generous with his friends and with a sense of humor, he is very characteristic in both English and Spanish since he is practically bilingual.<\/em><\/p>

          He is passionate about soccer and gastronomy. If you are from Real Madrid you will have earned points with him and if you are a declared foodie you will have conversation topics for hours.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

            As a graduate in Art History, she is a lover of Heritage and Museums. Her experience as an ELE teacher began years ago with her training at this school. She is an examiner at the Instituto Cervantes for levels A1-A2-B1-B2.<\/em><\/p>

            She has extensive experience as a teacher and also as a tour guide, something that makes her the ideal person to carry out all the cultural activities organized by the school. Entrepreneur and active, she created her own online Spanish teaching company \u201cSpanish for you\u201d. She has a great involvement and a social vocation, which is why she participates as a digital volunteer in the Red Cross and giving classes to immigrants whom she advises and mentors altruistically.<\/em><\/p>

            She is the motor of the school’s social life, organizes and participates in activities, she is in charge of the relationship and attention to the student, of the relationship with families and accommodation, she is passionate about social networks and new technologies.<\/em><\/p>

            His favorite hobbies include Pilates, cycling, reading and flamenco. He loves to travel anywhere in the world and write about his travels on his blog www.glory-planet.com<\/em><\/p>

            He defines himself as a sociable, fun and work-loving person, with high responsibility and creative ability. His classes are always a box of surprises where smiles are guaranteed!<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

            Graduated in Primary Education Teaching from the University of Granada, after which I had the opportunity to teach some foreign students and what allowed me to enter the world of ELE. For this reason, the following year I dedicated it to studying the Master of “ELE: language, culture and methodology” at the same University.<\/em><\/p>

            From then on I began my experience as a teacher; I worked giving private classes in Spanish, English and other areas, as well as, collaborating in some ELE academies such as Language4you or CIEE (Spanish Research and Teaching Center), until in October 2020 I joined TCLanguages <\/em>\u200b\u200b<\/em>as a Spanish teacher, a good place where the teaching and learning values <\/em>\u200b\u200b<\/em>that represent me meet, adapting the teaching method (effectively and affectively) to the needs and learning style of each of my students.<\/em><\/p>

            I have gained experience teaching students of different nationalities, different ages (from children to adolescents and adults) and levels. I have created and planned teaching materials and worked cooperatively. In addition, since July 2021 I have been a DELE A1-A2 examiner.<\/em><\/p>
